Linda Sunde

Linda Sunde has an extensive background in civil litigation practice, including research, law and motion, discovery and trial practice. Ms. Sunde grew up in Houston, Texas, and the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been a resident of Monterey County since 1993. Ms. Sunde obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Stanford University in 1984 and a Juris Doctorate from University of San Francisco in 1987.

Ms. Sunde clerked with the United States Attorney’s Office, Civil Division in San Francisco then worked as a Prosecutor in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office from 1987-1991, and in the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office from 2013-2015.

Ms. Sunde practiced as a civil litigator for over 13 years in Santa Clara County and Monterey County, with a focus in the areas of real estate, contract, and other business litigation disputes. Ms. Sunde has also handled will contests and trust administration disputes.

Ms. Sunde was a teaching assistant in legal research and writing at the University of San Francisco and is a certified Advanced Advocate of the National Institute of Trial Attorneys.

Ms. Sunde has volunteered on behalf of Senior Advocates in Palo Alto, Ca., lead scout groups with the Boy Scouts of America Pac 48 of Monterey County, and coached youth sports with the Y.M.C.A. of Monterey County.

Ms. Sunde joined the Litigation Department of the law firm of Moncrief and Hart in November of 2015.
